Membership registration is Free, and unlocks many features that support and sustan healthy, prosperous online communities. We have vowed to keep commercialization to a minimum, unlike many so-called resources. As people, we are bombarded by language, symbols, ideas, and technology, none of which is neutral. We must therefore define where we stand with regard to them and adopt appropriate intellectual and behavioral responses, if we are to be champions and not victims... |
All things enduring move through different progressive stages in a process. This process has four (4) phases: Development, Establishment, Maintenance and Refinement. Maximum Cultural Development warrants that we must be producers of culture, not passive consumers of it. Cultural development must be intentional and proactive, focused on clear and valid goals with a concrete vision of how to attain them
Infrastructure
Our infrastructure of web-based resources here at the DEMRI is made to support global collaboration, development, teaching, learning, and publishing. Open knowledge Sharing and collaboration are key principles here at the DEMRI.
We are striving to do what few have fully accomplished: Develop, establish, maintain and refine knowledge assets and media content specifically to support and sustain the education, growth, development and advancement of the globally dispersed African diaspora.
| No one will do what we can, and should be doing for ourselves. Outside of our own minds, the computer is one of the most powerful tools known to Man / Womankind. It is up to us, to exploit this technological tool for our advancement. We must set the stage for future generations to come, showing them that our generations did not wallow in complacency as the world evolved around us. |

Useful, timely, reusable information generated by authors is an area of interest also. Transforming literary resources and assets into Reusable Learning Assets (RLAs) reflects both wisdom and forward thinking. Such contributions are also invited where there will be no Intellectual Property (IP) conflicts. We will soon be publishing our IP Policies to facilitate this process.
Levels of involvement can take many forms. There is an Open Call for Content Contributors on multiple levels. Our environment is very fertile for hosting certain projects also...
